Hatef Shamshiri

Hi, I'm Hatef Shamshiri — a software engineer, researcher, and educator based in Lappeenranta, Finland.

With over a decade of experience spanning academia and industry, I bring a unique blend of technical depth and practical problem-solving to everything I build. I hold a Doctor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from LUT University, along with master's degrees from both LUT and Hamburg University of Technology.

I've spent the last five years as a Junior Researcher at LUT University, diving deep into software engineering challenges. Alongside my research, I've served as a Teaching Assistant for sustainable software capstone projects — mentoring student teams as they collaborate with real companies to deliver meaningful solutions.

I'm a versatile developer with hands-on experience across the full stack, including backend development with PHP and Laravel, .NET-based web platforms, and building production websites from the ground up. I also work fluently with data — from analysis and visualization to telling clear stories through charts and dashboards.
